God's Promises for Girls By Jack Countryman & Amy Parker

I really enjoyed this book! As a parent of a one year old, I know that in a few years the questions will be coming! I think this book will be very helpful.

This little book of scripture promises is a fantastic resource to have on hand when their little ones are facing struggles or just have questions. It is easy to read and understand.

There is a table of contents so that children can easily find what they are looking for.

There are mamu different sudjects that pertain to a young girl. Each subject has several bible verses to implement that part of the book. There are also cute pictures throughout the book to peak your child interest.

I think this is a must have book for little kids.

Lonestar Homecoming by Colleen Coble

Lonestar Homecoming is the third book of a trilogy; it's not directly connected with the other two, so you don't need to worry about reading them in order.

This charming book is about Gracie Lister and her young 5-year-old daughter Hope, In california.

On the day of Gracie's weeding. she suddenly confronted by the FBI about her fiance and realized she is been lied to.

Desperate and afraid, Gracie does what she has always done... she runs.

Not having time to pack, or anything else. she takes off in her weeding dress with her daughter, five dollars and a train ticket to Texas.

Once there, she meets Lieutenant Michael Wayne, a single father headed home to take care of his two chidren who just lost their mother.

With Michael in need of someone to look after his children while he is at work and Gracie in need of a home and a job, he hires her.

Romance quickly springs up between the two but that is a limited piece of the story.

Gracie's learning to face her past and the mystery involved is a bigger part of the story.

But Gracie's problems are far from over, and combined with Michael's issues peace seems far away.

I enjoyed the mystery of the novel. It's a good read. It's not very deep, not very dark, and easy to read.

I recommend this story to those who love a book you can't put down, a mystery you don't fugure out until the end.
